One of the oldest traditions at Swain High is our yearbook, the Ridge Runner, which predates even the Maroon Devil mascot. The Ridge Runner is a history book, documenting the story, successes, culture, and lives of Swain High’s students year after year. Each year, Swain High’s yearbook staff of students, along with their faculty adviser, work to create a book that will provide a window, for this generation and generations to come, into their time here at Swain High. However, the yearbook is an expensive project, and book sales alone cannot cover the cost of its production. If you own, manage, or are associated with a business in Swain County, we, the Swain High Yearbook Staff, could really use your help. Your ad purchase will not only provide an attractive promotion for your business within the Ridge Runner but will also be a valuable contribution to our efforts to provide a beautiful yearbook that this community can be proud of. If you have questions or are interested in purchasing an ad, please contact our yearbook faculty adviser, Ben Cutler (
bcutler@swainmail.org), and our staff will follow up with you promptly.
